May 27th/Week 21

Another relatively dry photo week.  Well, a wet week.  Storms just about everyday, in fact.  Doesn’t really make for a great shooting week, though… anyway, I digress.  Here’s some random stuff from my week.

May 20th/Week 20

Well, after last week’s monster photo post, this week might be a bit disappointing.  I had a relatively quiet week, photo-wise.  So let me share a couple from our trip back to Chicago.  We went back to celebrate my father-in-law’s 70th birthday.  It was a nice, relaxing, fun visit and I’m really glad that we made it back!

And the cake was delicious!

And, shockingly, it’s another flower that popped up in our backyard.  Spring…flowers…rain…. love it.

May 13th/Week 19

Here’s the deal.  This week was all wineries, nature, wildlife, flowers, and color.  Some of these might not be technically great, but nature doesn’t always cooperate.  Also, as there are nearly thirty shots, I will not be posting EXIF data here.  Sorry!

And finally, this is what we have in our creek next to work – it’s hard to get a good shot when they move so quickly, but you’ll get the idea –

May 6th/Week 18

So let me first say that it was a struggle to get out with my camera this week, as I managed to be home sick and basically unconscious for most of it.  However, I had my moment of panic last night when I realized that I had to have SOMETHING for my blog today, so I ran out to the backyard and started shooting our totally overgrown lawn and trees.  Sorry for the lack of creativity, but even weeds can be really pretty sometimes!

Perhaps I’ll be more interesting next week.  One can only hope.
