Port Clinton

For the first time in quite a long while, we took a little bit of a vacation. It was Emma’s first vacation, so our choices were somewhat limited. We wanted to get away, but not be in the car forever. We also wanted to find somewhere to stay where Emma’s ruckus wouldn’t disturb other people too much overnight. So we decided on Port Clinton, and Keith managed to find the very cute Island House Hotel where we rented a suite and had some extra room. We had a pretty low-key vacation. Here are some of my favorites, and the remaining bazillion or so are here.

Put-In-Bay: (Interesting note – either bring a car on the ferry, plan on hailing a cab, or rent a golf-cart to drive around the island. Also, driving around the island in a golf cart with a toddler was awesome. Finally, Put-In-Bay is probably a lot more lively when it’s “in season”.)

It was a lovely, relaxing, fun vacation – and I really hope that we can go on another one soon!

Easter 2013

There’s really not a whole lot to say about this post – it’s Easter 2013. We celebrated at home with Emma first thing in the morning, and then we got ready and drove aaaaaallllllll the way to Russellville, where we celebrated with my brother’s in-laws.  I know that sounds strange, but we really love his in-laws and it gives us the chance to get Emma together with all of her cousins, her Aunt and Uncle, and her Gamma JJ and Gampa Doug.  Here are some of the favorites, and the rest are here.

Miscellaneous Fun

Once again, I’m playing catch-up. This post won’t be anything spectacular, because of the three catch-ups I’m doing, this is the least impressive.  LOL, sorry, but honesty is usually best.

Emma tried fingerpainting for the first time. She wasn’t a fan after the first 2 minutes or so.  Also, we finally had an adult date a couple weekends ago. We went to the Melting Pot and enjoyed some awesome fondue and adult beverages. Here are a few, but the rest are on my SmugMug page.
