Spring has sprung – and I just don’t have the time to pull EXIF data on these today, kids. Sorry! But I got these all in my backyard over the last week.
Month: March 2011
March 18th/Week 11
We made a Trip to COSI in Columbus to meet some fellow SPNers – I got lots of photos of them and their families, but I just don’t feel tcomfortable posting other people’s children in my blog. So here’s what I got:
75mm, 1/30, f/3.2, ISO 100 – There was an adult-sized Lite Brite in the lobby. Very, very cool.
48mm, 1/15, f/5.6, ISO 200 – The gecko display was awesome. 🙂
35mm, 1/5, f/2.8, ISO 200 – This little dude was chilling on the display window.
42mm, 1/15, f/2.8, ISo 400 – Awesome lightning globe thingie was really pretty!
75mm, 1/1250, f/11, ISO 100 – Cox Arboretum doesn’t have pretty flowers quite yet, but still a lovely place to walk.
28mm, 1/40, f/4, ISO 100 – Looks like a nice place to bring a book and relax, right?
28mm, 30 second exposure, f/32, ISO 100 – It was getting pretty dark during our hike, so I used a longer exposure to try to compensate without adding grain to the image.
55mm, 1/15, f/14, ISO 100 – Mom surprised me with some beautiful tiny yellow roses at work!
March 11th/Week 10
60mm, 1/800, f/2.8, ISO 400 – Broomball game at Riverscape pavilion
75mm, 1/320, f/2.8, ISO 400 – Even the geese have no idea what to do with water this high since there are no more pathways to poo on
46mm, 1/25, f/8 ISO 400 – The green-roofed building is where one might usually go to rent Ducks for playtime on the river. But with this amount of flooding, we might all become ducks pretty soon.
75mm, 1/25, f/6.3, ISO 400 – There’s something about these flowers, dead or not, that I thought was really lovely.
75mm, 1/100, f/5, ISO 400 – Flock of birds watching over the river
28mm, 1/20, f/5, ISO 400 – Riverscape pathways have some gorgeous stone architecture.
40mm, 1/15, f/5, ISO 400 – Downtown Dayton at night
March 4th/Week 9

28mm, 1/15, f/4, ISO 800 – And for the 7th anniversary of our first date, we went and had a faaabulous meal at Sidebar complete with super fancy drinks…
